Even beyond the golf there are wide array of recreation centers that can be found at neighborhood centers, village centers, regional centers, and more. In fact there are currently over 57 different recreation centers can be found throughout The Villages with more plant each time there is a significant expansion. These are for a wide array of amenities including adults only pools, shuffleboard courts, horseshoes, general picnic areas, and more. There are multiple fitness centers that also offer more classes and options.
In addition to all the centers, the 1000 seat Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center frequently invites guest speakers and special shows that are available to residents, and has featured a wide array of very popular artists. For individuals looking to learn the craft or get outside more there were plenty of softball fields, Apollo Stadium, a lifelong learning college, a woodworking shop, and even a shooting range. In other words there is definitely something for everyone no matter what their specific taste.
